A limousine passenger injured in a collision with a truck, accepted a settlement in the amount of $18 million dollars five weeks into his trial.
The Plaintiff was a vice president of marketing for Sanofi S.A. of Paris and was riding in a limo on I-287 South in Bedminster, Somerset County, New Jersey, when the driver for unknown reasons stopped in the right lane and was hit by a truck.
The Plaintiff suffered a broken pelvis, bilateral nerve palsy of his lower extremities, erectile dysfunction, and had to have portions of his colon removed. He underwent several surgeries, and eventually was let go from his job.
The Plaintiff sued the limo’s owner, its driver, the truck’s owner, and the truck’s driver.
